Uglies Trilogy

Hey everyone,
I literally just finished reading Uglies, by Scott Westerfeld. It was really good. This adventure takes place in the future where you're an ugly or turn into a pretty when you turn 16. They're even seperated into their own cities. So, Tally is turning 16 soon and can't wait to become pretty, go to parties, and reconnect with her best friend, Peris. Well, she meets a new friend who doesn't want to become pretty and just might change Tally's mind. Read the book and all 4 books for that matter and find out.

Sarah Dessen

I've been getting into the novels by Sarah Dessen lately and they are absolutely stunning. She takes you on the life lines of people's lives as they live them and they are full of many, many friendships. I have my friends to thank for getting me into them. Thanks guys!

When It Happens

Ok, now most of those who know me know that Harry Potter is my absolute favorite series in the entire world. Now, the book When It Happens has fallen into 2nd place among my book rating scale. 3rd is Meagan Meade's Guide To The McGowan Boys. Anyway,
in When It Happens, Toby is going to try several attempts to win over the heart of the girl of his dreams, Sara. Sara is mostly focused on college and the new guy, Dave. Toby and Sara have one final year of high school left to figure all this out. Join them in the romantic adventure with this amazing book.

AR

School has started again and so has AR. Reading levels can be pretty confusing. For example, I'm reading a 4.1 book even though my lowest range is 5.0. The confusing part is is that that book is no where near what little kids would read or should be reading. I just confused is all I'm saying. Please comment on what your opinion is.

Book Review/ A Mango-Shaped Space

This book by Weny Mass was touching and amazing. Mia's family is anything but normal. Her brother keeps track of how many McDonald's hambugers he's eaten and her sister dyes her hair a new color every week. But now Mia lets loose her own gift. All her sounds, letters, and numbers have color. That means people's names have color. She wishes her letter and numbers could just be black and white like everyone else until this color seeing is diagnosed. Mia and her colors go on a great adventure through the story of a Mango-Shaped Space.

News Flash/ Sent

If any of you read Found, then you'll love Margaret Peterson Haddix's "Sent", the second book in the "The Missing" series. Jonah, Chip, and Katharine embark on a new adventure in the 15th century. Chip and Jonah need to find out who they are and they'll go all the way to the 15th century to do so.
